Good Roots

I was so happy when this tangle was created; it reminded me so much of a little gnome village.  I loved that the roots are strong, but pretty too.  This drawing was heavily influenced by Joanne Fink  http://www.zenspirations.com/

Weekly Challenge #176

This is my first weekly challenge from iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com. So glad to be finally trying these!

This week's challenge was to use a beverage's stain on our paper with tangles overtop. Of course, I used coffee!

I really expected this to turn out poorly - but I am rather pleased with the results. Who knew a little coffee on paper could be so fun?
