Inks Inks Inks
After a lovely Christmas and New Years adventure, I have still be very busy with playing with inks - especially my alcohol inks. But, after reading the new Cloth, Paper, Scissors magazine, I saw something else that caught my eye; I saw Splash Inks. Splash Inks are an acrylic ink and in only 4 colors - however these are the same 4 colors that are in a printer - so they can be mixed to make just about any other color!
What was one of the first things I did with them? Why, I just mixed them with my alcohol inks. Alcohol inks and water-based inks do not mix, so they never blend together completely, drying to a lovely swirled pattern. This one was created on Yupo paper.

Hope you had a lovely holiday season and are learning new things about your art, too!
