Inspired by the Masters
This month from Art Journal Journey was to be inspired by the masters. I found this to be an interesting topic since I have most recently been influenced by this book: Signs of Life: The Five Universal Shapes and How to Use Them by Angeles Arrien.
The five shapes most often found in most cultures are the circle, the spiral, the square, the cross, and the triangle.
So I might not be copying a specific master, but instead trying trying to copy the artists and craftsman of very very long ago!
